Ming-Ka Chan, BSc (Psych) MD MHPE FRCPC

Ming-Ka Chan is a Clinician Educator and Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics and Child Health at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada. She is currently the Co-Director, Office of Leadership Education, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences, and Director of the Shantou University Medical College-University of Manitoba Academic Exchange and EDI/Social Justice Lead, Department of Pediatrics & Child Health. She is the Co-Chair of the Canadian Association for Medical Education CLIME 2.0 leadership intensive.

Within Sanokondu, she is a founding member and is currently the Chair, Leadership and Governance Team, and the Communications Lead.

Nadine McRee, ᓇdᐃᓀ ᒼᐨrᐁᐁ, MPH, CHE, BTM

Nadine McRee is a proud member of the Saddle Lake Cree First Nation and a member of the Steinhauer clan that hails from Treaty 6 Territory. Prior to joining Alberta Health Services at the beginning of 2017, she acted as the Health Director and Health Policy Analyst with the Confederacy of Treaty Six First Nations. During this time, she was a strong advocate in policy changes to the Non-Insured Health Benefits, Public Health and Child and Youth Health both regionally, provincially as well as nationally. Nadine earned her Masters of Public Health with a focus on Indigenous Health Promotion Currently, at AHS with the Indigenous Wellness Core, Nadine is focusing on improving patient concerns and experiences and addressing racism within health systems as co-chair for the AHS Anti-Racism Advisory Group within the Diversity and Inclusion department.

Carolina Gómez-Moreno, MD

Carolina Gómez-Moreno is a Geriatrician currently working as part of the Geriatrics division in the Emergency Department at the National Institute of Medical Sciences and Nutrition “Salvador Zubirán”. As part of this role, she is also involved in Clinical Education of Internal Medicine and Geriatrics residents in emergency medicine context. Her fields of interest also include geriatric oncology specifically shared decision making and ageism in oncology care.

She is also an active participant of the organization #WomenInGeriatrics, a Mexican group for the advancement of female Geriatricians in clinical and scientific fields. She is part of the Young SIOG interest group which is comprised of junior members of SIOG (International Society of Geriatric Oncology).

Diane de Camps Meschino is Consultant Psychiatrist and Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. Her academic interests include leadership development in faculty and learners, trauma-informed healthcare, clinical/academic programme development, and health systems transformation.

A highlight of roles includes: Co-Chair Planning Committee NASKHO-TISLEP Joint Conferences 2018; Toronto International Summit on Leadership Education for Physicians (TISLEP) Planning Committee; Co-Chair Leader Role CBME Curriculum (Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto); Co-founder Pause4Providers-providing mindfulness for HCP managing COVID-19; and Founder and Past Head Reproductive Life Stages Programme (Mental Health Women's College Hospital).

Dr. Meschino is a founding member of Sanokondu and the Vice Chair of its Leadership and Governance Team.
